We live in a time that mankind has dreamed about since the invention of the wheel, technologically speaking. Each day there seems to be another amazing advancement whether that be in health care, automotive, aviation, renewable energy, telecommunication and the list can be almost never ending.
 
Technology seems to be driving us, and the learning curve to keep up is tremendous. The price we are paying is in the area of soft-skills. We continually learn the technical side and less and less emphasis is on the human side of the process.
 
When you look at the attributes (soft-skills) of successful people you typically identify skills such as self- confidence, people person, positive attitude, enthusiasm, discipline, inspiring, vision, self-expression, good verbal and written communication, self-motivation, handling conflict, selling their ideas, and the list continues.
 
Your knowledge and experience in your chosen field of work is crucial, without developed soft-skills it can be very challenging to advance.
